Sandra has 40 years of experience in the healthcare field, starting work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1972. In her decades of practice, she has been in acute care, surgery, cardiac ICU, nursing management, shift supervision and clinical liaison. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as valedictorian in 1991 and earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2001.

She began her career with the company in 2003, prior to the acquisition by Golden Living, as a Clinical Services Consultant. She was promoted to her current position in 2005. Today she serves as the co-chair of the Golden Living Wound Council.

Sandra said that her job is a joy. “My favorite part is knowing that I am making a difference in how things are done at the center level, ensuring that the residents are receiving quality care and the staff are able to work efficiently and effectively.”
