Renee R.
Executive Director
Golden LivingCenter - St. James
Renee R. has been with Golden Living and its predecessors since
1992. She received her first administrator's license in 1993 and
worked in marketing for the company from 1993 to 1996. She took her
first Executive Director position in 1996 and by then held
healthcare administrator licenses in four states. Over the next 14
years she earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration
while simultaneously serving as Executive Director at various
facilities. She has been the leader of her current LivingCenter
since 2005.
Renee enjoys the challenges and rewards her job provides. “I
love that no two days are the same,” she says. “When I come to work
every day, I know that I will be making a difference in someone's
life, even if it is something small.”
She is also a strong believer in providing outstanding customer
service, understanding that “everyone is a customer” at one point
or another, whether that person is a resident, patient or
employee.
“We try to treat our staff with respect and show appreciation
for the hard work they do,” says Renee. “In turn, I expect our
staff to show respect and kindness to our residents, their families
and their fellow staff members. I think it is also critical to
listen to our customers and understand their needs and
expectations. I encourage our staff to work to exceed our
customers' expectations so that we can make a difference every
day.”
